faith: 5 scriptures to inspire you.
My faith plays a huge part in my life. Not only does it provide me with creative inspiration, it’s also the very foundation on which I stand.
That said, I wanted to share with you 5 scriptures for creative inspiration.
Bookmark and Revisit Often.
He has filled me with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers. - Exodus 35:35
The Breakdown: The skills you have are breathed in from Heaven - You’re skilled to do many things in different fields.
2. Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank. - Proverbs 22:29
The Breakdown: You work in excellence. Because you are skilled
3. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. - Ephesians 2:10
The Breakdown: You were created to do good works.
4. … he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— 32 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze. - Exodus 31:1-6
The Breakdown: Because of The Spirit of God in you, you have knowledge and are equipped with all kind of skills.
5. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. - John 14:12
The Breakdown: We were created in God’s Image and this scripture teaches us that because the of the same Spirit that is in God lives in us, we too can do what God has equipped us to do if we believe.
